Anyways, she has found this incredible balance of Mother and now friend. She doesn’t give unsoliscited advice but I’m always seaking it because she is so wise. She takes advice, we learn from each other because she is aunthentic and transparent and taught me to be the same. She is honest, and realistic but can also dream and instill vision.
Simply put, I’m lucky, and I don’t just say that because it’s what you are supposed to say. It’s true.
SO many women have felt the benefit of her mothering during my lifetime and especially this past year. Thank you Momma for all you do and who you are.

Did I mention that she also enlisted the help of some other wonderful women to help “mother” me in my growing up years. My beautiful Grandmother, Joy, whom I am named after. My name is Alexander Joy and she is Joy Alexander. We call her “Honey” for a reason.
I am one lucky women to have been taught, loved, and raised by these ladies.
And also my beloved Auntie Toni who my sister Tonie is named after.
