World’s easiest Cobbler Recipe

Okay so trying to get “inspired” these days and back to cooking, crafting, and planning. Therefore I am here to share with you. Knowing I’m sharing always helps keep me motivated.

I have whipped up this cobbler probably a dozen times in the past few months. It is my “go to” recipe for desserts. I have made it with strawberry-rhubarb, peach-raspberry, and blackberry (which was only a tad too runny so I’d adjust next time).

Fill a pie pan or 8×8 with fruit.
If I’m doing strawberry-rhubarb I do half and half.
Peach-raspberry had a can of peaches with a couple cups of raspberries.
Blackberries I filled the pan and next time would add a tad bit of tapioca and cornstarch or flour.

Here goes…

World's Easiest Cobbler

Grease your dish and add fruit (approximately 2″)
Cover with 1/2 cup sugar

In a mixing bowl combine:
1/2 cup sugar
1 Tb butter
3/4 cup half and half (or the fattiest milk you have)
1 tsp baking powder
1 cup flour
1 pinch of salt
1 tsp vanilla

Mix, should be a tad bit runny and won’t fully cover the fruit. Add flour or water to the consistency you like. I like it a bit runnier – but have made it more biscuit like too.

Put in preheated oven at 350 degrees for 30-40 minutes until golden brown.

Server ala mode!

Let’s get some input coming. What do you think?
