For the month of October I’ll be cooking something in cast iron daily and sharing with you all here – hoping you will be inspired!
31 days of cast iron cooking! All began with an Irish Soda Bread recipe from my friend Tricia, 2 forlorn cast iron pans I inherited from my grandma “Honey” (and almost gave away), and a “resident expert” I can go to if I get stumped. (Otherwise know as best friend Bethany who pretty much uses solely cast iron in her cooking.)

cast iron is the BEST! we use it for all sorts of things…especially cornbread. I have two awesome versions on my blog 🙂 the trick is to heat up the pan with the oven then add the batter. SO GOOD!
