We have chosen to live life through the eyes of our two boys and have been so blessed by their innocence, joy, love, and growth.
“The Lord delights in those who fear Him. Who put their hope in His unfailing love.” Psalm 147:11
We have had a year filled with delight and wonder as we brought our second born son, Camper Phog, home from the hospital and have watched our first born, Cashel Rock, develop into a little boy – we have found ourselves in awe.
Serving in our church and local ministries has led to deeper relationships, growing hearts, and en even larger village. Benjamin has been traveling quite a bit with a job he loves at Kite and Lightning. Alex is home with the C’s and is finding so much joy in fulfilling this role. She also started a new adventure this summer; formalizing her wedding coordinating business a “Ask Alex Joy.” A mini remodel, weekend trips to visit friends all over Washington, more extended family moving to town, and seeing the world through the eyes of our two growing boys has filled our year to the brim.
We had the thrill of a lifetime renewing our marriage vows this fall. A celebration of our commitment to each other now that life has given us so much context for the promises we made six and a half years ago.
Cashel has a love for music, cars and trucks, he had a Curious George 2nd birthday party; and really loves cooking. Camper is truly a “Happy Camper” and is the smiliest guy we know. He is just starting to move – everywhere; he loves to eat – everything; and can sleep – like no other. He is sweet, snuggly, and the consummate people watcher.
We are learning to be more like Jesus every day and find it the greatest honor to do that by raising our boys in a loving home filled with joy, laughter, and adventure.
Happy Christmas and here is to a beautiful 2015! Love, The Jacobsons
