Rainy Day Activites: Homemade Edible Finger Paints

So last week my sister-n-law of Playing at Paste and the self proclaimed “not crafty” one, made edible finger paints with things she had in her cupboards. Very cool!
Plus we were the lucky recipients of an invitation to come paint…
Check out that fantastic smile on my little nephew’s face. I love that these boys have each other.
This table was key – their size so the paint and paper was easily accessible and easy to clean up. 🙂
So we headed over one evening and let the cousins paint. We were surprised and how little mess there really was and the art work turned out great! Cashel made two pieces and one was such a fun Fall color combo that I cut it out in the shape of a leaf and mounted it on orange scrapbook paper to hang up and then save.
We used this recipe for “Homemade Edible Finger Paints” found on The Imagination Tree and it was great. I love when you can create something, especially something this fun, from what you have at home!
