“What’s True About You: God’s Friend” is a brand new Bible Journaling Kit put out by DaySpring. It is a continuation of last month’s kit, “What’s True About You: Your Own Story” and you can see that kit and take a fun quiz here. Both kits content comes from author Holley Gerth and it is deep, meaningful, and challenging to work through. This month especially I was challenged to ask myself some hard questions that warranted some extra time in prayer and in God’s Word. I love a devotional that requires something from me, and takes me on a journey through probing questions, strong ideas, and deep connections to Scripture. This month’s kit is exactly that and you can grab your’s here using my affiliate link. Plus there are some amazing other resources like a book and journal that take the content even further.

I just love the way this kit coordinates with last month’s kit both artistically and in the content topic, but also can totally stand alone. Plus that greeting card that DaySpring includes is a true gift. It can be used right in your own Bible, it has the loveliest rose gold embossing and an awesome tear off encouragement card in the inside of the greeting card. You can see more in my unboxing video.
The bold and bright alphabet stickers (you get three sheets!) are perfect for making titles and page starters that pop off the page. Layer them with washi tape or additional pieces from the free printable you get and they can be really dynamic on the pages of your Bible.
The stamps are so versatile and the perfect reusable resource. I just love that the bold letters that spell out “GROW” and “BELIEVE” are individual letters so they can be used to create shorter words or can be used as the initial letter of a word that your write out or spell out with other stamps or stickers! The dots stamp that resembles the embossing on the card might be my favorite! SO much potential in this fantastic stamp set. Not to upstaged of course by the bright and gorgeous paper pieces. Don’t you just love the florals. I was so inspired to create my own in my Bible.
Don’t miss seeing the kit real time in my unboxing, check out an entry I did below using this gorgeous kit, and be sure to snag it over on DaySpring’s website right here. They have some great promotionals and sales going on so keep your eyes peeled and stay tuned here and over on my instagram account here.
I love how the dot stamp, washi, and alphabet stickers layered so well to create a mixed media effect! And for someone who doesn’t do much stamping I was sure inspired to try some new things with these stamps, including colored ink! I love how the little tab cluster turned out too using a paper piece, some washi and the dot stamp! I can’t wait to hear your impressions and see how you use the kit in your own Bible! Don’t forget to tag me so I can come check it out!
