In this Trying to Conceive (TTC) series I am reviewing posts I wrote before being pregnant. I came across this one today. I wrote it April 29, 2011. The absolutely inspiring thing is that one year later on April 28, 2012 we were finding out Cashel’s gender. And here I am two years later on April 30, 2013 posting pictures of our sweet Cashel Man. God is so good.
Here is what I wrote on April 29, 2011
“thoughts on TTC”
1. a friend, more a friend of a friend, from my past is using my top name.
(That was one of the first things that made me sad we hadn’t had any luck yet.)
2. i’m thinking a lot about how i don’t relate yet to my girlfriends who are already mom’s. they talk a lot about feeling competitive with other mom’s… will I feel that way. i hope not.
3. a friend had her baby last week, another yesterday (on the day of the royal wedding).
so far i don’t have the saddness that some TTC ladies have when friends have babies, reveal they are pregnant or at baby showers. will I?
4. how will this affect my career or the changes that are coming my way?
